The English Bible Through History - Museum Exhibit

The Gadsden Museum of Art will feature a display of historically significant and interesting Bibles collected by the Gadsden Primitive Baptist Church. The exhibit will be on display from July 3 through August 19 and is free of charge. A complete facsimile of the 1455 Gutenberg Bible—the first book ever printed on a printing press—will be featured. This is only the second complete reproduction ever produced. During the Conference, the Gadsden Museum of Art will host a Grand Opening Event for this exhibit. This event will include hand-on time with several important Bibles and orientation to the collection by the Conference speakers.
